Bracing
significantly increases vehicle handling characteristics by increasing
chassis stiffness. Adding additional weight above the vehicle's
current center of gravity (CG) will raise the vehicle's CG, adversely
affecting its handling characteristics. The Strange Development strut
tower brace is three times lighter than conventional steel strut tower
bracing. We found that by minimizing weight, the maximum handling
gains could be achieved.
